View PricingMichael McVety has been a property manager for over 25 years and is President of Red Fortress Property Management. Red Fortress has been doing property management exclusively for nearly 40 years. In 1996, Red Fortress was awarded the CRMC (Certified Residential Management Company) designation by National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) - the fourth in the nation. Red Fortress is family owned and family run company that started in 1985.
Michael continues to serve as a leader in the property management industry today. He has been President of the Southwest Florida Chapter of NARPM 5 separate times while serving in some capacity for 25 years. He was state President for the Florida Chapter in 2005 and served as a state director for 12 years. He was Vice- President of the Southwest Florida Apartment Association and has sat on the National Certification Committee, the National Communications Committee and the National Finance Committee for NARPM. He has mentored companies trying to get their professional CRMC designation as well. He is the Legislative Chair for the Southwest Chapter of NARPM and a member of the National Finance committee currently.
Michael has been a professional speaker for property managers, apartment associations, condominium and real estate investment groups. He has his Florida Real Estate broker’s license, Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation and is qualified as a Master Property Manager (MPM). There are fewer than 200 in the United States. Michael has been interviewed by NPR and local Fox and Wink News for his views on real estate and property management.
Michael is a father of 3 teenagers and when he is not learning or teaching, Michael is a certified level 4 ice hockey coach and has coached youth hockey for over 20 years.
